Mrs. Genevieve Yankey is a highly experienced and accomplished Administrative and Human Resources Management professional with a proven track record of leadership and strategic expertise. With a career spanning several decades, she has demonstrated exceptional abilities in developing and implementing HR policies, managing organisational administration, and fostering effective teamwork.

Currently serving as the Director of Administration at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) in Ghana, Mrs. Yankey is responsible for the overall administration of the Head Office and the entire CSIR. Her key responsibilities include developing and implementing comprehensive Human Resource policies and programmes, overseeing Human Resource planning, performance management, compensation management, and labour relations, managing Council assets, serving as the Secretary to the Governing Board of CSIR and contributing to the Management Boards of various CSIR Institutes.

Mrs.  Yankey’s extensive experience has positively impacted the Strategic Human Resource direction of the CSIR, especially related to policy development and implementation and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Holding a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Ghana, Legon, and memberships in prestigious professional associations, including the Chartered Institute of Human Resources Management (CIHRM) and the Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants (CIAMC), Mrs. Yankey is committed to professional excellence and continuous improvement.

She is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with a strong focus on people development and achieving organizational goals.
